Hi everyone! Happy New Year! It seems to be starting off well here in New Hampshire. We have lots of snow, and the temp is pretty low, but that just makes for good cuddle up and write weather. I wanted to let everyone know that November 3rd. Club has now published my poem “Branches”. I wrote this poem while thinking of a conversation I had a decade ago with my friend Eric Bryan. We were discussing life choices, and he drew a picture of a tree for me and said something to the effect of, “You have to pick a branch. Once you have decided, you can’t go back. It will change you forever.” He was right. I have never regretted the branch I chose, but this poem explores that conversation, and how it could have changed me in other ways.
